Wall Decor Solution

Artitude is happy to share that we have helped newly wed couple Kwee Choo and Zhi Cong to transform their new house at Yung Sheng Road!

They had this little problem - there was this abrupt break in wall colours between their dining area and living room and they were not sure how to decorate the blank walls.

Our solution - we customized Into the Woods art decals into 2 colour tones - a darker tone on the beige wall and a lighter tone on the brown wall. The resulting effect not only solved their problem by creating a sense of continuity between the 2 spaces, the design also added much more fun! Definitely an attention grabber when people enter their love nest!

The couple had also kindly sent their feedback to us: "We are very pleased with the design that Artitude recommended. It has definitely added more vitality to our house. Great price, great services! Thank you! We will definitely recommend Artitude to all our friends."
Thank you Kwee Choo and Zhi Cong!

Art Decals on Glass: 5 Application Tips!

Art decals work their magic not only on walls, but also on other smooth surfaces, like metal and glass. You can transform your office door, shop front, window, shower doors almost instantly if you keep in mind some basic tips when installing them:

Tip 1: If it is the first time that you are decorating with an art decal, start with a small piece which is easier to manage.

Tip 2: Make sure your glass surface is clean (pre-wipe with a mild solution of water + a bit of vinegar will be good enough. Reduce the use of chemical cleaners for a greener enviroment!).

Tip 3: After you peel away the white backing of the decal, use our ArtiTool or simply an old phone card to apply the decals slowly from a corner and take note to gradually push out any air bubbles during the process. If you find air bubbles stuck right in the middle of the decal which you cannot push out through the sides, gently use a needle or pen knife to poke a little slit to allow air to escape and then flatten the spot.

Tip 4: As glass is a very smooth surface, art decals will adhere more strongly to it as compared to a wall surface. Hence, try not to peel out the decals and re-apply again as they may stretch and go out of shape due to their thinness.

Tip 5: Checking the other side of the glass surface allows you to spot any remaining air bubbles clearly!

We love our Wildflowers art decals so much, we knew it had to be put it up on the glass door of our cozy office. And indeed, passerbys can't help but take a second look everytime they walk pass!

Our Office

My originally plain office was brought to life with our Little Artitude Farm art decals! This colour was the first one that we did to test out the effect. And it the design turned out pretty popular since we launched it at the Singapore Zoo!

Whenever i feel stressed out, these little animal frens beside me will cheer me on! Hee hee.

To add enhance our office's little water fountain corner, we used 2 shades (Thunderstorm and Silver Lining) of Shy Dream Grass decals to decorate the walls behind it. And the result is oh so perfect : )

Potato Farmland!

Potato Farmland is a cool and cozy eatery specializing in yummy yummy potato finger food. We were so happy to help transform the place with our Shy Dream Grass art decals! 2 different colours of decals were used to create a more lively and interesting look. We all had so much fun putting up the decals and eating potatos at the same time. Whahaha.

The Artitude team also designed two unique cartoon characters to personify Daniel and Agnes, the two lovely dovey owners!

PS: If you are a potato fan, then must visit Blk 239 Yishun Ring Road #01-1152!

The Artitude Green Party!

Finally! We are up! http://www.artitude.com.sg/

The team had a little (green) celebration party cum chill out session with family and a few frens on the 7 Aug evening... prior to that, lots of late nights (especially for our web developer N) and adding to our high level of stress was our insistence on making the party as eco-friendly as possible. So we were busy sourcing wine glasses, organic tea, biodegradable plates... And we made the decision to do away with the wasteful disposable cutlery! Only good 'O fingers! Lots of headaches but they are all worth it!!
